Dodgers utilized advantages over Braves in Game 1

The Los Angeles Dodgers captured the opening contest of the National League Division Series against the Atlanta Braves by a 5-3 margin on a warm afternoon at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium. Tarik Skubal delivered a strong pitching performance for Los Angeles, backed by a trio of home runs from the batting order that included a two-run drive by Teoscar Hernández and a solo shot from Kyle Tucker.

Atlanta stayed within striking distance through a solo home run by Sean Murphy and a ninth-inning two-run blast by Ozzie Albies off reliever Tanner Scott. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts ultimately turned to Evan Phillips to secure the final out of the matchup after the Braves threatened in the final frame.
