The setback added to Buffalo's health woes for the evening, as defensive tackle Ed Oliver went down with a significant issue during pregame preparations.

Health challenges also impacted the visiting Lions, who entered the contest at the new Highmark Stadium missing starting offensive linemen Christian Mahogany and Blake Miller.
