DJ Durkin's history versus Tennessee as SEC defensive coordinator

Auburn defensive coordinator DJ Durkin prepares to face Tennessee once again this coming Saturday, adding another chapter to a long history of matchups against the Volunteers across multiple SEC programs. Throughout his career, Durkin has faced Tennessee while coaching defenses for Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and Florida.

His previous meetings include a 20-13 loss with the Aggies at Neyland Stadium in October 2023, a 31-26 victory with the Rebels at the same venue in October 2021, and a pair of victories during his tenure with the Gators, which featured a 10-9 win in Knoxville in 2014 and a 31-17 triumph in Gainesville in 2013.
