Did Kelsey Mitchell just play her last game with the Fever?

The Indiana Fever were eliminated from the opening round of the postseason on Thursday night following a Game 3 defeat against the Las Vegas Aces. Guard Kelsey Mitchell now faces an uncertain future ahead of 2027 free agency, with defensive considerations potentially prompting the franchise to reshape its roster.

While the front office possesses the financial flexibility to secure a multi-year extension for Mitchell, questions regarding defensive fit alongside Caitlin Clark may influence their direction. Meanwhile, A'ja Wilson stands as the projected recipient of the most valuable player honor for the season.
