Diana Shnaider reveals the strategy she was using against Alex Eala to beat her at the Ningbo Open

Diana Shnaider overcame Alex Eala in straight sets at the Ningbo Open to advance to the semifinals. The 22-year-old Russian player, who previously reached the Roland Garros semifinals, secured a 7-5, 6-4 victory in their first professional encounter.

Following her win, Shnaider will face the fourth seed Iva Jovic for a spot in the semifinals. Shnaider and Jovic, along with world number one Elena Rybakina, are the only three seeds remaining in the tournament.
