The New York Giants kicked off their season with an impressive 28-20 upset over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, marking a victorious debut under head coach John Harbaugh. Running back Devin Singletary handled the ball 10 times and reached the end zone, while rookie teammate Cam Skattebo paced the backfield with a game-high 81 rushing yards and another score.

Tight end Isaiah Likely earned recognition as the game's top performer for New York, which also fielded active wide receiver Malik Nabers despite having declared seven other players inactive before kickoff.

Dallas fell short despite productive outings from key playmakers. Running back Javonte Williams guided the Cowboys' offensive output by producing 72 yards and crossing the goal line twice, while wideout CeeDee Lamb caught a touchdown alongside his 44 receiving yards.
