Delhi cricket has brought in four former players to rescue the squad from its current slump and capture the Ranji Trophy for the first time since 2008. The newly formed backroom team consists of Vijay Dahiya as head coach, KP Bhaskar leading selection duties, Gursharan Singh overseeing high performance, and Sanjeev Sharma acting as bowling coach.
Dahiya emphasized that players must display genuine passion and understand the prestige of representing the squad. Bhaskar noted that junior talent must be carefully evaluated and supported with consistent opportunities.
Gursharan pointed out that competition has intensified significantly as other regional programs have improved their development pipelines.
