Deion Sanders faces growing scrutiny after Colorado’s 29-7 loss to Texas Tech

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders is facing mounting pressure following a 29-7 home loss to Texas Tech, which dropped the team to a 2-3 record. After starting the season with victories over Georgia Tech and Weber State, the Buffaloes have suffered three consecutive defeats against Northwestern, Baylor, and Texas Tech.

Sanders is currently navigating roster instability and ongoing struggles at the quarterback position, where Isaac Wilson, Julian Lewis, and Kaneal Sweetwyne are competing for playing time. With an overall record of 18-24 during his four-year tenure, the coach's long-term future is being questioned despite his contract extending through 2029.
