Following a seven-year tenure, Baylor University has decided to dismiss head coach Dave Aranda during the 2026 season. Athletic director Doug McNamee confirmed the departure of Aranda, who compiled a 40-40 record in Waco and guided the program to a 12-2 finish in 2021.

As the search for a successor begins, several coaching names have emerged as potential candidates for the vacancy.
