Darren Rizzi: Special teams coaches want NFL to change rule for holders on kickoffs

Special teams coaches across the league are pushing for a league rule adjustment regarding holders on kickoffs. Broncos coordinator Darren Rizzi indicated that his peers overwhelmingly agree that utilizing an extra player for holding should be restricted strictly to weather situations where wind threatens the ball on the tee, rather than as a tactic to alter kicking trajectories.
