Running back D’Andre Swift cleared the practice hurdle ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the New York Jets, returning to a full session on Friday without carrying any injury designation. Chicago head coach Ben Johnson explained that Swift sat out Thursday due to typical recovery demands following a quick turnaround from Monday’s victory over Philadelphia.
Swift enters the weekend having accumulated 253 rushing yards with three scores alongside eight catches totaling 68 yards through three appearances this year. Meanwhile, the squad will be missing several other athletes for the upcoming contest, as defensive back Cam Lewis is listed as doubtful with a hip issue, while offensive lineman Braxton Jones and quarterback Caleb Williams are sidelined entirely.
Additionally, defensive back Kyler Gordon, linebacker Noah Sewell, and defensive lineman Shemar Turner remain ruled out despite working within their 21-day practice windows.
