Conte plays down 'unfounded' Man Utd speculation

Antonio Conte has publicly addressed rumors linking him to the Manchester United managerial position, dismissing claims that he is currently in high-level discussions with the club. While reports suggested he had already presented specific demands regarding transfer authority and staffing, the former Chelsea boss clarified that no such negotiations have taken place.

Despite the speculation, United is reportedly evaluating potential successors to Michael Carrick following a recent 4-1 loss to Como. Other figures including Eddie Howe and Julian Nagelsmann are also being considered for the role as the club assesses its options.
