Colts confirm that WR Alec Pierce aggravated heel injury that required offseason surgery; timeline remains unclear

During Sunday night's matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce exited the contest after aggravating a previous heel injury that had previously required surgery during the offseason. The team fell 33-30 in overtime at Arrowhead Stadium after Pierce was forced to leave the field in the first half following a play where he did not touch the ball.
