Lakers guard Collin Sexton has gained attention for his stark transition from a quiet locker room presence to an aggressive competitor during games. In a recent 103-87 victory over the Clippers, Sexton recorded 21 points on 6-of-11 shooting while adding four rebounds and two assists.
Despite the absence of starters Luka Doncic and Ziaire Williams, Sexton led all players with a plus-minus of +23. Coach JJ Redick praised the veteran's competitive intensity, while teammate Austin Reaves noted his defensive tenacity.
Sexton, who joined the Lakers on a two-year contract this past July, acknowledged that he adopts a war-like mindset once he enters the court.
