Christian McCaffrey resting Wednesday

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey was absent from the practice field for a scheduled rest day on Wednesday, September 30. The team handled his practice load in a similar fashion previously, and expectations point to him resuming full participation by Thursday.

During the team's third game of the schedule, the star ball carrier accumulated 116 total yards along with a score, maintaining his status as a reliable top-tier fantasy football option.
