Charm City Cross Day 1: Manon Bakker and Tofik Beshir take solo victory in C1 races

The opening day of the Charm City Cross event in Baltimore featured dominant solo performances by Manon Bakker and Tofik Beshir during the initial round of C1 competitions. Bakker dictated the pace from the opening lap in the women's category to secure her fourth series win, finishing ahead of Sidney McGill and Mia Aseltine.

In the men's event, nineteen-year-old Beshir overcame an early crash and successfully chased down an early breakaway by Andrew Strohmeyer before pulling away to take the victory.
