Chargers list Derwin James, Ladd McConkey, Trey Lance as questionable

Heading into their upcoming matchup, the Los Angeles team has sidelined four athletes while designating five others as uncertain to play. Safety Derwin James Jr., quarterback Trey Lance, wide receiver Ladd McConkey, safety Elijah Molden, and cornerback Donte Jackson all carry questionable tags.

Lance managed to dress for the third week of action despite previously being listed as uncertain, positioning DJ Uiagalelei further down the quarterback hierarchy. During Friday's practice sessions, Lance, James, Molden, and McConkey were restricted in their participation, whereas Jackson managed a full workload.

On the definitive side of the injury report, the franchise officially ruled out four individuals for the contest: left guard Kayode Awosika, tight end Charlie Kolar, wide receiver Brenen Thompson, and defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson. Meanwhile, running back Keaton Mitchell avoided any game status designation entirely.

Despite spotted wearing protective footwear earlier in the week, Mitchell completed a full practice on Friday and is cleared for action.
