Chad Ryland out-scored the Rams by himself in NFL’s most surprising win of the season

Entering the current professional football campaign, analysts placed the Los Angeles Rams at the absolute top of the league power rankings following a blockbuster offseason highlighted by the acquisition of players like Myles Garrett and Trent McDuffie. Conversely, the Arizona Cardinals sat dead last at number thirty-two after managing only three victories the previous year and facing major uncertainty under center with Jacoby Brissett slated to lead the offense.

Yet just six weeks later, those preseason expectations were upended when Arizona defeated Los Angeles eighteen to sixteen at SoFi Stadium. Placekicker Chad Ryland accounted for every single point for the victors by successfully converting six field goal attempts, culminating in a forty-three-yard game-winner as time expired.
