Cauley recalled, O’Hoppe optioned for finale

The Texas Rangers have brought up infielder Cam Cauley from their Triple-A affiliate in Round Rock ahead of the series finale. This roster adjustment comes after Nicky Lopez exited the previous night's contest due to a foot problem, leaving Cauley to join Cody Freeman as an additional bench infielder.

To create space on the active roster, the organization returned designated hitter and catcher Logan O’Hoppe back down to Round Rock. O'Hoppe had just been promoted a day prior when Josh Jung was sidelined on the 15-day injured list due to a hand fracture.

Additional recent roster churn involved Robby Ahlstrom stepping in for Gavin Collyer, who had briefly joined the club following Winston Santos's demotion.
