Canadiens: The Final Countdown

The Montreal Canadiens are finishing up their preseason schedule by dividing their roster for a pair of simultaneous contests against the Ottawa Senators. Head coach Martin St-Louis has chosen to hold out Ivan Demidov and Lane Hutson as healthy scratches, while captain Nick Suzuki prepares to compete against his sibling Ryan for the first time in a professional exhibition.

Jacob Fowler and Samuel Montembeault are slated to share duties in goal for the home match, with Jakub Dobes handling the entire contest on the road in Ottawa. David Reinbacher will also get another chance to showcase his abilities during the away fixture alongside other hopefuls like Arber Xhekaj and Jayden Struble.
