Australia has encountered further physical setbacks during their ongoing tour after Cameron Green and Matt Renshaw picked up painful blows during the third one-day fixture in Potchefstroom. Green sustained a hit while batting and was subsequently forced to sit out the bowling innings, while Renshaw took a powerful pull shot directly to his wrist while fielding at square leg.
Both cricketers had to leave the field early, joining an already lengthy injury list that includes Josh Inglis, Nathan Ellis, Jack Edwards, and Joel Davies. Despite these fitness concerns, the visiting side managed to secure a 48-run victory via the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method for their first triumph of the series.
