Cam Young was out the door to LIV Golf, wind cuts PGA Tour event short, and gearing up for Mexico

The Butterfield Bermuda Championship was shortened to 54 holes due to intense winds, leading to a Monday playoff at Port Royal where Austin Smotherman and Seamus Power competed for the title. Meanwhile, legal filings from the LIV Golf bankruptcy proceedings revealed that Cameron Young signed a letter of intent to join the rival circuit shortly after the 2022 Open Championship.

Although Young ultimately chose to remain with the PGA Tour, the documents confirm he was prepared to depart following his performance at St. Andrews.
