Cam Fancher injury update: Michigan State loses backup QB vs Wisconsin

Michigan State faced another setback during its Week 5 matchup against Wisconsin when reserve signal-caller Cam Fancher suffered an apparent right knee injury during the third quarter. The transfer quarterback pulled up after scrambling for a short gain on an opening drive of the second half, subsequently exiting the contest without his helmet after medical staff evaluated the joint.

The Spartans entered the afternoon already dealing with multiple roster concerns, including previous injuries affecting running back Cam Edwards, linebacker Jordan Hall, and defensive back Tyran Chappell.
