Caitlin Clark hit with second playoff technical after incident with former teammate

During Game 3 of a playoff matchup on Thursday, October 1, Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Las Vegas Aces center Brianna Turner were issued offsetting technical fouls in the opening quarter. The altercation occurred after Turner wandered into an impromptu huddle of Fever players during a video review, prompting Clark to shove her away.

This marks Clark's second technical foul of the postseason, putting her halfway to an automatic one-game suspension under WNBA playoff rules, which trigger a ban upon a player accumulating four technicals. The incident followed an earlier rebound play where Lexie Hull fouled A'ja Wilson, sending the Aces center crashing into the stanchion and setting off the official review.
