Ahead of the crucial divisional matchup against the New England Patriots, the Buffalo Bills released their official gameday roster decisions. Starting cornerback Christian Benford was forced to sit out after missing every practice session during the week due to an injury designation.
This absence paves the way for rookie Davison Igbinosun to enter the starting lineup and opens the door for undrafted rookie Kani Walker to make his professional debut following a practice squad promotion.
Several other roster choices accompanied Benford's absence on the inactive list. Rookie wide receiver Skyler Bell remained a healthy scratch while the team stuck with its established pass catcher rotation.
Fourth-round draft pick Jude Bowry, seventh-round rookie lineman Ar'Maj Reed-Adams, defensive lineman T.J. Sanders, veteran edge rusher Mike Danna, and safety Jalen Kilgore rounded out the group of inactive players for the contest.
