The Tampa Bay Buccaneers updated their injury report late Friday, adding linebacker Josiah Trotter to the questionable list for Sunday’s matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Trotter, a second-round pick in this year’s draft, has been sidelined by a knee issue that also kept him out of Week 3.
The rookie has already made an impact with 40 tackles, a sack, and an interception return for a touchdown in his first four games, though he has started just three of them. Meanwhile, the Bucs’ offensive plans face another setback as quarterback Baker Mayfield remains out for the third consecutive game due to a dislocated right thumb.
Additional absences include safety Antoine Winfield (rib), wide receiver David Sills (hamstring), and cornerback Benjamin Morrison (quad), who is listed as doubtful. Linebackers SirVocea Dennis and Zac Robinson (offensive coordinator) also factor into the team’s depth concerns, with Dennis marked questionable due to ankle and foot injuries.
