Bronny James is ready to escape LeBron’s enormous shadow

Entering his third professional campaign, Los Angeles guard Bronny James is preparing for a regular season entirely separated from his famous father for the first time in his career. With LeBron James having departed Los Angeles in free agency following an eight-year tenure to sign with the 76ers, the younger James expressed excitement about forging a distinct professional identity during Monday's team training facility opening.

The two squads are scheduled for a Christmas Day clash in Southern California, followed by a March 4 meeting in Philadelphia.
