Brilliant spell against WI shows why India need Kuldeep

Kuldeep Yadav delivered a stellar four-wicket performance on Sunday at Thiruvananthapuram’s Greenfield International Stadium to guide India to an eight-wicket victory over the West Indies. After the visitors posted a strong opening partnership of 135 runs, the left-arm wrist spinner claimed figures of 10-1-40-4 to dismantle the batting lineup.

Despite an unbeaten century from Virat Kohli, Kuldeep was awarded player of the match, drawing praise from captain Shubman Gill as the team prepares its bowling combination for the 2027 ODI World Cup.
