Braves News: Game 3 drama, Tyler Mahle, more

Atlanta faces an elimination game three against a division rival without a traditional starting pitcher on regular rest. Grant Holmes and Ray Kerr are expected to shoulder the pitching duties while relying on the bullpen.

Tyler Mahle pitched seven strong innings of one-run ball in game two before the bullpen faltered, though a lack of home runs also hurt the team. Walt Weiss spoke with reporters following the second matchup to discuss the management of the contest.

In other postseason action, the White Sox defeated the Astros and the Yankees swept past the Red Sox.
