Brad Gilbert admits he made a mistake with Stan Wawrinka, ‘one of my dummy moves ever’

Following his recent opening round defeat at the Basel Open against Jiri Lehecka, three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka has officially concluded his professional tennis career. Competitors and analysts alike have offered glowing tributes to the Swiss star, with Roger Federer among those celebrating his legacy.

In a social media tribute, veteran coach Brad Gilbert praised Wawrinka as a first-ballot Hall of Famer and confessed to a major career regret.
