Bo Nix has 15 game-winning drives, most ever for a QB in his first three seasons

November 3, 2026

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has shattered an NFL record by compiling 15 game-winning drives in his first three seasons, surpassing Dak Prescott’s previous mark of 14. Nix’s clutch performances include three as a rookie in 2024, seven last season (an NFL-high), and five already this year—all while the team remains ahead for the final time.

His latest came Sunday, when Nix orchestrated two touchdowns and a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter to lift Denver to a 28-24 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, overcoming a 24-13 deficit with 10 minutes left. With more than a quarter of Tom Brady’s all-time total of 58 game-winning drives already under his belt—and still just over halfway through his third season—Nix has cemented himself as one of the league’s most reliable late-game quarterbacks.
