Bills waive DB Anthony Kendall, plan to bring him back on practice squad

The Buffalo Bills have moved defensive back Anthony Kendall off their 53-man roster, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The team plans to re-sign Kendall to their practice squad, pending his clearance through waivers.

Kendall, who has played for the Titans, Ravens, and Browns earlier in his career, had not appeared in a game since 2023 before making his return in Buffalo’s recent win over the Los Angeles Rams. In that contest, he logged 31 defensive snaps and 15 on special teams, marking his first action since his 2023 absence.

At 26 years old, Kendall’s brief but notable performance could signal a renewed role for the veteran cornerback in Buffalo’s secondary depth chart.
