Bills, Joe Andreessen agree to two-year extension

Local linebacker Joe Andreessen has secured a fresh multi-year commitment from the Buffalo franchise, locking in a two-year extension worth five million dollars with three million guaranteed. This agreement ensures the homegrown defender will remain with the organization through the conclusion of the 2028 campaign.

After initially joining the club as an undrafted rookie tryout participant in 2024 and making an immediate impression during exhibition play, Andreessen developed into a standout special teams contributor. During the 2025 season, the linebacker placed second across the league in special teams tackles, while also providing depth as an athletic inside reserve.
