Bill Burr Refuses To Apologize For Changing His Opinion On The WNBA

Comedian Bill Burr has doubled down on his evolving stance regarding the WNBA, refusing to issue an apology for changing his public opinion on the league. As the 2026 WNBA Finals approach, the series between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries has drawn unprecedented attention, with ticket prices for Game 3 soaring to a record $201 get-in price—the highest in WNBA Finals history.

The Dream, led by star player Angel Reese, are making their first Finals appearance in franchise history, while the Valkyries, an expansion team from 2025, are chasing a championship in just their second season. The shift in venue for Game 3, from the Dream’s usual home to the larger State Farm Arena, has further fueled demand, with overall ticket costs exceeding last year’s levels.

Meanwhile, the league has shattered viewership and attendance records in 2026, solidifying its growing cultural and athletic relevance beyond the court.
