Bijan Robinson puts a damper on Saints' celebration with 59-yard TD run

The Saints were still basking in the 20th‑anniversary celebration of their post‑Katrina comeback when the Falcons struck early. Running back Bijan Robinson burst through a gap opened by left tackle Jake Matthews on a blitz by Chase Young and sprinted untouched 59 yards down the left sideline for a touchdown.

Quarterback Michael Penix had already connected on short throws of 12 and 9 yards before the big run, and the score quickly moved to a 7‑0 Falcons lead just 1 minute, 26 seconds into Monday Night Football.
