Best Week 7 fantasy football waiver wire pickups at QB, RB, WR, TE

Fantasy managers preparing for Week 8 face several roster hurdles following a wave of injuries during Sunday's action. Denver pass-catcher Jaylen Waddle exited a victory against Arizona due to a chest issue, while Minnesota running back Aaron Jones departed early with a knee concern.

Miami's backfield saw Jaylen Wright sidelined by a foot and quad problem, opening the door for Ollie Gordon. Additional injuries struck Houston wideout Jaylin Noel, New York Giants ball carriers Cam Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy, and New Orleans third-down option CJ Donaldson.

Looking ahead to the upcoming slate, four franchises will observe their scheduled byes. The Houston Texans, New Orleans Saints, New York Giants, and San Francisco 49ers are all resting next weekend.

Meanwhile, early-season wire additions such as Omar Cooper Jr., Geno Smith, and T.J. Hockenson continue to reward managers who added them previously.
