Bernhard Langer will be absent from the Charles Schwab Cup Championship for the first time since he joined the PGA Tour Champions in 2007. The 69-year-old finished 44th in the season standings, missing the 36-player cutoff after opting out of the Simmons Bank Championship to avoid a four-week stretch of play.
This marks the end of an 18-year streak of appearances at the season finale for the veteran golfer. Langer, who holds the record for the most senior major titles with 11 and the most career earnings on the circuit, also concluded his 2026 campaign without a tournament victory.
His final performance of the year was a tie for 44th at the Stifel Charity Classic.
