Bengals signing Mitchell Tinsley off Texans practice squad

The Cincinnati Bengals have added wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley to their main roster by taking him from the Houston Texans practice squad. Cincinnati needed to address depth issues at wide receiver following a thumb injury to Andrei Iosivas and a knee issue keeping rookie Colbie Young sidelined for at least a week.

Tinsley previously spent the summer in Cincinnati before heading to Houston and brings familiarity with the offensive scheme and quarterbacks Joe Burrow and Joe Flacco. This move comes as special teams miscues from Ke’Shawn Williams might push Dohnte Meyers into return duties instead of securing the third receiver role.
