Before the Roar: Previewing Detroit Lions vs. Arizona Cardinals

The Detroit Lions return to action after a Week 4 setback, heading to Arizona for a Week 5 clash with the Cardinals, who sit at 1-3. The Cardinals’ offense has drawn attention to All-Pro tight end Trey McBride, whose dominance poses a challenge for Lions defenders already struggling to contain tight ends.

Meanwhile, Arizona’s run defense has been stout, with nose tackle Roy Lopez and safety Budda Baker proving disruptive. Lions defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard will need to devise a strategy to slow McBride while managing how early passing plays could influence Arizona’s game plan.
