The Chicago Bears dominated the Seattle Seahawks with a commanding 34–17 victory at Lumen Field, marking their third straight game scoring at least 30 points. The win also ended a three-season stretch where Seattle had never lost by more than four points, as Caleb Williams extended his NFL record to 36 consecutive games with no more than one interception and at least 20 pass attempts.
Chicago’s offensive efficiency was on full display, outgaining Seattle 363–252 yards, securing 22 first downs to the Seahawks’ 18, and controlling the clock with 35:03 of possession. The Bears also outplayed Seattle on critical downs, converting 46.7% of third-down attempts compared to the Seahawks’ 9.1%, and went 1–0 on fourth-down attempts, while Seattle managed just 1–2.
Defensive standout Jeffery Simmons made an immediate impact in his Bears debut, leading the team in tackles and recording a sack. Head coach Ben Johnson praised Simmons’ leadership, calling him a high-character player whose presence elevated the entire defense.
Quarterback Caleb Williams affectionately dubbed Simmons “Jefe,” highlighting his influence on the field. Simmons’ ability to handle double teams and dominate one-on-one matchups freed up other defenders, contributing to Chicago’s dominant performance on both sides of the ball.
