Barça lifts fan section ban, Gol 1957 to reopen against Aston Villa

FC Barcelona has reversed its decision to close the iconic *Gol 1957* fan section, allowing it to reopen for the club’s upcoming Champions League clash against Aston Villa. The move follows a formal agreement between Barça’s supporters’ committee and representatives of the section’s various groups, who pledged to uphold strict standards of civil and respectful behavior moving forward.

The club emphasized the section’s importance in energizing the team, though it stressed that any violations of the new conduct rules will be met with immediate consequences, including potential stadium penalties. The incidents that led to the provisional shutdown have already cost Barcelona significant fines, and the club now faces the risk of further disciplinary action from football authorities if issues persist.

Officials at Camp Nou framed the deal as a critical step toward resolving ongoing disciplinary proceedings and protecting the interests of supporters and the club alike.
