Australia name white-ball squads for England series, Jake Fraser-McGurk earns recall

Australia’s selectors have finalized squads for the upcoming white-ball series against England, featuring a mix of returning stars and promising young talent as the team prepares for both the ODI and T20 formats. The ODI squad of 15 includes established performers like Mitchell Marsh (captain), Travis Head, and Adam Zampa, alongside recall calls for left-arm quick Spencer Johnson and all-rounder Liam Scott, who have been building their game in domestic cricket.

Mahli Beardman, a West Australian fast bowler, returns after an injury absence, having impressed during Australia A’s recent tour of India. Meanwhile, the T20 squad introduces Jake Fraser-McGurk back into the fold for the first time since 2025, alongside debutant Lachlan Shaw, who has shown explosive potential in recent Australia A matches and the Big Bash League.

Nathan Ellis, however, remains sidelined for the ODIs due to a lingering side strain.
