Austin Smotherman Wins Bermuda Championship In Dramatic Playoff

Following severe weather that forced tournament officials to halt play prematurely, the 54-hole golf tournament in the Atlantic concluded on a Monday morning. Austin Smotherman emerged victorious by defeating his competitor on the third sudden-death playoff hole to claim back-to-back victories.

The dramatic finish at the Port Royal venue saw Smotherman outlast Seamus Power after fierce winds disrupted the closing stages of the weekend schedule. With this triumph, the champion secured his second consecutive PGA Tour title alongside an entry for the upcoming U.S. Open.
