Outfield defenders participating in the trial are required to maintain strict straight-up positioning rather than shifting toward hitters' tendencies, monitored through a visual indicator board that displays green confirmation or red warnings.

The implementation is currently restricted exclusively to Salt River Fields because of its advanced stadium technology.
