Ausar’s improved handle could elevate Pistons to contender status

Ausar Thompson demonstrated improved ball-handling skills during the Detroit Pistons' preseason victory over the Phoenix Suns at Little Caesars Arena. The forward, who recently signed a five-year, $155 million contract, contributed 10 points, three steals, two rebounds, and two assists in the contest.

His refined control allowed for more effective offensive execution compared to previous seasons. This development is viewed as a potential turning point for his ability to contribute as a primary playmaker.
