Bucs Week 5 injury report

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers entered Week 5 with a concerning injury update ahead of their Thursday night clash with the Dallas Cowboys. Star quarterback Baker Mayfield was ruled out for the game, leaving the Bucs without their franchise leader at a critical moment.

Defensive standout Antoine Winfield Jr. also faces a setback, sidelined for 2–4 weeks after suffering a rib injury in Sunday’s 17–14 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

The team’s depth was further tested as kicker Chase McLaughlin joined the injury report with a right groin/hip issue, while linebacker Rueben Bain Jr. remains a full participant after practicing Monday.

With four defensive starters already out, the Bucs’ already thin roster takes another hit as they prepare for a short week before facing a Cowboys squad that stands to benefit from Tampa Bay’s mounting injuries.
