Atlanta Braves News: Braves Welcome Phillies For Wild Card Round, Early Afternoon Schedule for Games, More

The Atlanta Braves wrapped up their campaign by dropping a five to three decision to the Miami Marlins on Sunday while resting players to ensure health for the postseason. Atlanta now prepares to welcome their division rivals, the Philadelphia Phillies, to Truist Park for a best-of-three Wild Card series starting this week with games scheduled for the early afternoon on Tuesday and Wednesday, alongside a potential Thursday matchup if necessary.

Meanwhile, Dan Wilson will not return as manager for the Seattle Mariners in 2027 following a disappointing year, while the Houston Astros secured their playoff position by capturing the National League West title over the Texas Rangers on the final day of the schedule.
