Asian Games hockey: India thrash Sri Lanka 16-1 for second big win

India secured a commanding 16-1 victory over Sri Lanka during their Pool A encounter at the Asian Games, following up on their previous 13-1 triumph against Indonesia. Mandeep Singh opened the scoring early in the match, while Abhishek and Dilpreet Singh both contributed hat-tricks, alongside goals from Jugraj Singh, Harmanpreet Singh, Manpreet Singh, Sukhjeet Singh, and Vivek Sagar Prasad.

Suresh Rathnayake provided the lone reply for Sri Lanka in the final quarter.
