Asian Games: Gulveer Singh bags second silver with 1500m personal best time in Japan

Gulveer Singh secured a silver medal in the men's 1500m event at the Asian Games 2026 by clocking a personal best time of 3:36.72 seconds, finishing directly behind Kazuto Iizawa. Vithya Ramraj also made an impact by capturing a bronze medal in the women's 400m hurdles, thereby breaking a national record that had remained unbroken since 1984.
