India secured its inaugural gold medal at the 2026 Asian Games thanks to a stellar performance by the women's cricket squad led by Harmanpreet Kaur on the fourth day of competition. Additionally, the men's badminton contingent and martial arts competitor Roshibina Devi locked in at least two more podium finishes for the country.
